Dear Jeff-
Brad and I wish to express our sincere gratitude to you and your entire staff for the absolutely wonderful experience we had during the process of remodeling our basement.

From the very beginning when we first met you, Jeff, you came over on several occasions and took the time with us to help design the perfect, I repeat perfect, lower level. Julie and Laura without both of you, we would have been totally lost with our selections. Your guidance and kindness throughout this entire process is so very much appreciated. Scott - where do we begin? You played such a huge role in the success of our basement. Absolutely anything that we needed, you were there for us and made sure it got done. Trust is such an important thing in life and you proved to be so trustworthy and then some. We thank you for the respect that you gave to us and our home.

Our gratitude to the sub-contractors. They were all great to work with, were very respectful and courteous and their quality of work was superb.
The level of service that we received from all of you is nothing short of exemplary. You displayed such professionalism, courtesy and kindness. You gave us peace of mind and created a trust that was very important. Your team constantly followed up with everything to make sure it was done correctly.

While we are so very glad that the basement is finished and we can now enjoy it, there is a certain amount of sadness that goes along with that. We will miss talking to you all and not seeing anyone anymore!! It will be kind of lonely around the house for awhile!!

“We are just thrilled with the house addition and particularly with the job you, Scott, and everyone involved did with this project. Honestly, it exceeds our expectations and works so much better for our lifestyle. The kids’ den gets considerable use and our new dining space is just wonderful – warm, functional, and perfect for our family. Scott worked so well keeping everyone on track and making sure the project moved along according to our timetable. He also made sure the contractors knew that we continued to live here during the work (and that I was very pregnant during this time too) so everyone was respectful of our space and cleaned up well after themselves. (Received during construction...) I want to extend my highest compliments to your framing crew. They have been great about keeping us informed and always seem to be working hard. Yesterday, in particular, I was very pleasantly surprised with their work. They had to move the transom window in Adam's bedroom. Anyhow, I peeked in on the work right before I left to get Ethan from school and saw the area but when I got home they had already left. I opened the door expecting chaos and a huge clean-up job. I was absolutely shocked! They had thoroughly cleaned the debris from the floor, moved AJ's dresser back in place and even re-hung his blinds for me!!! All I had to do was wipe down his crib and change his linens and he could sleep in his own room. Since I'm pregnant and tired by the end of the day (as I know you know, Laura), I was definitely not looking forward to a big clean up job so their diligent efforts to keep our house liveable are VERY much appreciated. I just wanted to let you know that we're really impressed with this crew. Thanks so much!

"We just celebrated our third year of living in a “Horwath Built Home” and can in all honesty say it’s still new. Recently we incurred an issue with our French door in the great room. I contacted the office and Laura responded with the necessary information. Mike Trexell over at Harris ordered the parts and it was delivered in two weeks. I decided to take on the responsibility to install the item myself and ran into an educational situation as I had never encountered hardware of this type. I left a message with Glen for help and got a welcomed surprise call on a Sunday evening to get me straight as to the installation of the hardware and its operation. After three years I still receive new home service thanks especially to Glen. Just last week I ran into Don and I would also like to extend thanks for his guardianship in the construction of our home. Finally it has been our pleasure working with Yvonne and prospective Horwath clients interested in visiting our home to get a feel and comfort zone of what quality is all about."

We appreciated the many times that they used their expertise to guide us in our decision making both when we had no clue or when we thought we did and obviously didn’t! Their input to us was extensive and will always be appreciated. Don probably had to deal with me more than anyone and I don’t imagine his job was easy. Let me say that there wasn’t one time that I felt like Don didn’t have his entire being into the building of our home. He answered my every question thoroughly and with great integrity. I was well aware that the building process would present unforeseen challenges, changes and questions. Although they were kept to a surprising minimum, I knew that I could completely trust whatever Don shared with me. I was then able to make any decisions necessary and get back to what I do, leaving it all Don’s hands to complete from there. You hear so many horror stories of the building process. Mostly, I want to say that I never worried once about the building of our home knowing that Don was there to take care of us. His open honesty won us over from our first meeting. You are the best!!! Don’t hesitate to holler if we can ever provide a reference for you as others try to navigate the building decision. We have already told so many, if you are going to build there is only one place to go, don’t waste your time anywhere else. Thanks so much, you are all such a blessing to us.

“As far as the basic architectural design, we can honestly say we wouldn’t change a thing. You guys really listen well when it came to design (it totally has the look and feel we were looking for). Jeff, I meant to tell you this sooner, and I apologize for the late feedback.. I had a minor plumbing problem on New Yr's day last month. In a pinch I thought maybe Glenn Soehrmann could give me some advice over the phone. No fault on Glenn's part, but he was out. I gave Scott a call on a whim he might answer. Sure enough he did and not only that he offered to come over and give me his advice. Thirty minutes later he arrived and told me exactly how to fix it.
